Ok, I’ve decided. I think I’m going to like this series. It’s very light, easy to read - doesn’t take long to follow the story. It’s no literature - but hey, it’s entertaining, with Bubba ‘Presley’ the Vampire. And Sookie’s narratives get better as the book progressed.
I must admit that I almost stopped at book 1, because I didn’t like the story then. But I thought of giving the second book a try, and it gets really entertaining - if not interesting.
I like the fact that Sookie is a kick-ass bitch who doesn’t want to turn into a vampire :). She has thick moral fibers and saved a lot of people - sometimes all by herself. She doesn’t let people kick her around, she’d kick back.
My favorite quote, (I thought this was hilarious!)
